Transfer Student Application Information
PLEASE NOTE: Fall semester transfers are now closed. Applications received will go towards transferring your student for the spring semester of the 2026-2027 school year.
In order to be considered for admission at St. Pius X, academic transcripts, attendance and discipline records will need to be on file with St. Pius X.
St. Pius X High School accepts transfers of students entering grades ten and eleven. Generally, St. Pius X does not accept transfer students entering their senior year. The following are examples of exceptions to this policy:
- The prospective student is transferring from another Catholic high school outside of the metropolitan area
- The prospective student has been previously enrolled at St. Pius X
- Another student is simultaneously enrolled at St. Pius X
If a senior is admitted to St. Pius X High School, he or she must fulfill all requirements necessary for graduation. If you have an incoming senior student interested in transferring, please contact Melissa Montesano at (816) 453-3450 x 114.
Ready To Apply?
1. Apply to St. Pius X Catholic High School
To begin the process of transferring to St. Pius X, create an account in our SPX Parent Portal. From there, you may log in and fill out the application. There is a $50 application fee.
2. Request Transfer Documentation
Once you have applied, our Admissions Department will contact you with procedures for acquiring the following documents from your student’s current school:
1. Academic Transcripts
2. Attendance Records
3. Discipline Records
4. IEP, SEP or 504 Plan (if applicable)
Documentation must come directly from the school.

4. Interview
After receiving your student’s transfer documents and having had time to review them, we will reach out directly to schedule an interview meeting, where we will discuss academic placement and address any other questions you have about the transfer process. A decision regarding acceptance will be communicated to the student and their family.
4. Enrollment
The next steps to enrolling at St. Pius X will be communicated to accepted families via email and will be taken care of in the SPX Parent Portal.
