Honors Classes -- in both English grade 9, and in Algebra grade 9 -- are based on high school placement test scores and middle school teacher recommendations. Honors Geometry (grade 9 or 10) and Honors Algebra II (grade 10 or 11) are based on present math course performance and the teacher's recommendation.

ACCP, an acronym for Advanced College Credit Placement, is dual credit -- both for high school and college. The college credit is provided by the accepting institution the student attends, not by the college or university that offers the course. Rockhurst University, Missouri Western State University (St. Joseph, MO), and the University of Missouri -- Kansas City are the institutions with which St. Pius X works. Fees for ACCP classes vary and are significantly reduced from full time students.
St. Pius X offers these ACCP classes: College Algebra, PreCalculus, Calculus, English IV, Advanced Biology, Spanish II, Spanish III, and Spanish IV.
