Summer Reading Requirement for AP United States History

• Do not wait until August to start this process. Each of the bullets below could take several days to complete.
• Acquire the textbook American History-Connecting with the Past AP Edition, 15th Edition by Alan Brinkley. You can find it from a former student or rent/buy it on the internet.
• Read Ch 1 pg. 2-33. Use the attached document to take notes as you read. Answer the AP Historical Thinking questions on pg.1 when you are finished reading.
• Read Ch 2 pg. 35-64. Use the attached to take notes as you read. Answer the Historical Thinking questions on pg. 34 when you are finished reading.
