SAVE THE DATE-PARENT PRESENTATION
On September 18th at 7pm in the Logan Center, St. Pius X will be hosting a parent information presention on ways to safeguard our teens using the SOS Signs of Suicide Prevention Program. This presentation will educate parents on risk factors and warning signs of teen suicide and include resources of mental health wellness materials. This program will be implemented Diocesan-wide in all middle schools and high schools. We will also explain how this program will be implemented in our school by giving parents access to all the lesson materials, screening process, and local school and community resources that we will use. Even though discussion of this topic might be uncomfortable, we believe it is important for all parents to hear it. This presentation will be limited to an hour. If you are unable to attend and would like more information regarding teen safety or the SOS prevention program, please email or call the Counselors.
