Historical Speech & Communication

Credits: 0.5

Students will be presented with and engaged with a variety of different sources that chronicle the unfolding story of U.S. and world history. Student note-taking and attention to numerous resources such as articles, videos, and first-hand accounts presented in class will be critical in their interpretations and comprehension of these events and the subsequent speech or creative essay that they will write and deliver in front of their peers. There will be regular homework assignments, including a significant amount of writing and journaling.
