"'Put on Christ' in your life, and you will find a friend in whom you can always trust; 'Put on Christ,' and you will see the wings of hope spreading and letting you journey with joy towards the future; 'Put on Christ,' and your life will be full of his love; it will be a fruitful life.'" - Pope Francis, World Youth Day Rio 2013
St. Pius X High School is a Catholic, faith-filled community that encourages each student to live a holy life by helping foster a friendship with God. Learning to love God is the central purpose of Catholic education.
Deeply grounded in the Roman Catholic tradition, St. Pius X guides our students’ spiritual journey through prayer, a sacramental life, academic instruction in the faith, all-school liturgies, retreats and regular opportunities for community service.

Service
The purposes of the service requirements are to heighten an awareness of the plight of the less fortunate, to develop in our students a sense of civic responsibility and a sense of Christian stewardship. The majority of students go above and beyond the minimum graduation requirement of 60 service hours. Click here for Community Service Opportunities and approved agencies.
Ministry Team
Is open to all St. Pius X students interested in service to our community. Ministry Team consists of three collaborating groups that work together to enhance the spiritual life within St. Pius X.
Spiritual Life Committee: is committed to improving the overall spiritual life within the school. They work to plan any spiritual activities such as Masses, Penance Services, prayer service etc., and they brainstorm new ways to ignite the students’ faith. This committee is also in charge of praying for the spiritual growth of the school and any issues that may arise within the school year.
Christian Formation Committee: works to plan and assist all retreats throughout the school year. They work together to meet the needs of the students in making their class retreat both enjoyable and spiritually enriching. This committee may also do any public speaking throughout the course of the year whether it be at assemblies or reading at Mass.
Social Justice Committee: plans and attends a difference service project each month. This group may do anything from praying in front of planned parenthood, making Valentine’s Day cards for nursing homes, volunteering at local venues in need of service, or stepping up to do any spontaneous service needs that arise throughout the course of the year. The service possibilities are endless in this group, as they are able to plan to do anything they are able to dream.
St. Pius X High School is here to support the family in its role as the primary religious educator of its children, and the parish as a dynamic wellspring of Catholic culture and life with the goal that each young person fully embrace his or her vocation in the Church.
