St. Pius X High School is a Catholic, faith-filled community that encourages students to live a holy life by fostering friendship with God.  Deeply grounded in the Roman Catholic tradition, St. Pius X guides students into spiritual maturity through prayer, a sacramental life, academic instruction in the faith, all-school liturgies, retreats, and regular opportunities for community service. 

Our students grow in their faith and live their faith through:  

Service 
The purposes of the service requirements are to heighten an awareness of the plight of the less fortunate, to develop in our students a sense of civic responsibility and a sense of Christian stewardship. The majority of students go above and beyond the minimum graduation requirement of 60 service hours.  Click here for community service opportunities and approved agencies.

Ministry Team - open to any SPX students interested in service to our community, evanglizing peers, planning retreats, and much more! Ministry Team consists of three collaborating groups that work together to enhance the spiritual life within St. Pius X. 
These groups are: 1) Interact Club: Guatemala 2) Warriors for Life 3) Chapel Team

1. Interact Club-Guatemala: SPX students and adult leaders from the Kansas City area that perform mission work in the San Andres Itzapa region of Guatemala. 
2. Warriors for Life: is a group of SPX students and faculty committed to upholding the dignity of human life from conception to natural death. We participate in local service to pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes, engage in pro-life rallies on the local and national level, and other pro-life activities. 
3. Chapel Team: comprised of students who want to serve in various liturgical ministries within the Mass including altar servers, lectors, and sacristans.
