Intro to Catholicism & Sacraments

At St. Pius X since 2011. 

I look forward to the upcoming year. I have been at St Pius now for what is my 14th year. I have coached, taught and been an administrator in my time here and count myself blessed. Going into the 24/25 school year I will teach freshman theology, help with the Strategic Intervention Team (SIT), do some athletic administration, and help out when and where possible. 

I grew up in Sugar Creek, MO and graduated from Van Horn High School in 1985. I then attended the University of Missouri-Columbia where I earned a B.S. in Fisheries and Wildlife in 1990. 

I left Mizzou and coached football at Ft. Scott Community College in Fort Scott, Kansas. From there I went into the corporate world where I eventually entered the Roman Catholic Seminary in 2006. After 5 years of seminary formation I discerned that it was time to leave the seminary and I found myself here at St. Pius X High School. 

I look forward to this year as the community grows in the Love of Christ under the prudent intercession of Our Lady and Pope St. Pius X.
