St. Joseph's Table is coming up soon - March 19

    • During the week leading up to the Table we begin our all school novena to St. Joseph (this year it will begin on Tuesday, March 9th).
    • Again this year, we are collecting money in different ways to help the Sisters of St. Francis.
    • The table has been a long standing Lenten tradition here at St. Pius X, lots of opportunities for our students to fully experience the Lenten season by doing service, giving alms, and praying.
    • We need some help from our St. Pius X community.
      • One of the ways we offer alms giving is by putting on a raffle with items the kids can buy tickets for the chance to win.  We are looking for items to help with this raffle: gift cards, gas cards, tickets to sporting events, small electronics, hand bags, etc.  (anything the students would want).  If you are interested in donating an item please contact Toni Hess thess@spxkc.org, or drop your item off at the front office with her name on it.  The raffle ticket sales begin on Monday, March 15.  Thank you so much for your willingness to help!

    CAMPUS MINISTRY
    Guess who?!
Can you guess who this Servant of God is?

    SPRING SPORTS
We are so excited to officially begin Spring sports this next week! Let’s hope and pray for a successful, healthy, fun season for our student athletes. Information we thought we’d share re: our Conference Fan Guidelines for the season.
    Midland Empire Conference
    Fan Guidelines -- Spring 2021
In an effort to provide the opportunity for students to participate in activities and create the safest environment for our students and their families, the MEC Board of Control has implemented the following guidelines for attendance at activities at member schools for the Spring 2021 activities season:

    • Attendance will be limited to 6 family members of the participants. Individual students will not be admitted.
    • Fans (including any family members that are students) will be expected to sit with their families and maintain social distancing from other fans. There will be no student section.
    • Face coverings will be required at all indoor events and may be required at outdoor events, subject to local health guidelines.
    • Depending on the number of teams participating and the capacity of local facilities, some track meets may have more limited restrictions on the number of fans allowed. These will be established by the host school.
The goal of the MEC Board of Control is to take as many precautions as possible to provide these opportunities for our students. Additionally, it is the goal of the Board of Control to create an opportunity for families to attend these events in person. These guidelines are subject to modification based upon directives and recommendations from health care professionals. Your cooperation is appreciated.
