FROM THE OFFICE:
ILLNESS:
Near the beginning of the year seems to be a good time to remind everyone of the school policy re: illness. If your student is home or goes home during the day and is experiencing vomiting or fever, they must be symptom free for 24 hours before returning to school. Please respect this policy for your child’s sake and the sake of others they may come in contact with at school. We understand they want to keep perfect attendance or not miss class, but their health is important and they will have an opportunity to make up work.

SOS SUICIDE PREVENTION PROGRAM:
Thank you to all who attended our first parent night on Wednesday, September 18th. The Diocese of Kansas City-St. Joseph will be implementing the SOS Suicide Prevention Program in the high schools and middle schools. To gain knowledge of the program and how it will be carried out in our school, we invite you to view the parent portal. https://sossignsofsuicide.org/parent This program will roll out to the students on October 17th.
