St. Pius X Parent Association (SPXPA)

Dear SPX Parents, Alumni, Alumni Parents and Friends,

It’s been a great year to be a Warrior! We are honored to continue to support academics and activities here at SPX and our efforts this year have been successful through your involvement and support of this mission. Our accomplishments would not have been possible without your participation! As we begin to ramp up for another wonderful school year, we would like to summarize your contributions to our school and student body in the past few years;
- SPX Parent Mixer with Music Bingo
- Refreshments for welcome events and orientation for new students and parents
- SPX Warrior Classic Golf Benefit Sponsor
- Teacher appreciation, including coffee cart, luncheons, and Christmas gifts
- Student Christmas Luncheon
- SPX Activities Shuttle (ETA: Summer 2024)
- Student spirit bus to Seneca, MO for the Semifinal Football game
This past school year, we went directly to the classrooms and asked our faculty to give us a list of items that they felt would enhance our student’s learning experience. We are proud to have contributed the following:
- Audio Headsets to enhance learning for Foreign Language curriculums
- New novels for every student in English classrooms
- Student Whiteboards for Classrooms as visual learning aids
- Furniture for the Student Union/Library
We are also excited to provide our faculty with an opportunity for professional development this summer through the AVID Summer Institute. This program is a live 3-day professional interactive learning event for educators introducing rigorous curriculum that promotes student achievement at the highest levels and lays out a pathway to student success. Our faculty representatives will be able to connect with educators, administrators and thought leaders around the country who are creating positive change in education.

This past school year, we partnered with the SPX Booster Club to create a hassle-free advertising experience at all our campus athletic sites that offered donor support opportunities at multiple levels. We are proud to report that we were able to bring in just over $10,000 to our budget that was added to supporting our student body in all the above. We encourage continued support of the WPBC Advertising Campaign, as it benefits the classroom as well as athletics here at St. Pius X.

Through your continued support of our Improv Fundraiser and concessions obligations, we continue to make a difference in providing a Catholic education in the Northland. The SPX Parent Association board would like to extend its sincere appreciation and thanks for the support we have received this past year. We hope you have a wonderful and restful summer and look forward to your participation in the 2024-25 school year!

The SPXPA welcomes all parents to join our organization! We have monthly meetings August thru November and January thru April. We meet the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 5:30pm in the conference room.
