Stagecraft

This course functions as the set building aspect of the theater department. As a class we will design and construct sets for both the musical and play throughout the year. You will be expected to participate in both the design and building of the sets as well as the tearing down of the set for part of your grade. The other portion of your grade will be from small periodic quizzes to test your knowledge and understanding of safety and general theater terminology we will cover in class. Participation in the crew for at least one of the shows is required. This includes backstage, manager, front of the house, or tech.
