Bob Bax and Pete Wilkinson
Since 2017, Bob Bax & Pete Wilkinson have been instrumental in enhancing the SPX campus through their invaluable assistance with various "do dad’s" tasks.
They have dedicated countless hours to performing a wide range of tasks at SPX. From pouring concrete steps at the stadium bleachers to tackling multiple miscellaneous projects around the school, including door installations, entry tile work, monument sign maintenance, and building shelving units. They have consistently gone above and beyond in their commitment to making our campus beautiful and functional. Bob & Pete even built the office in the back of the new stadium barn.
Bob has been married to his wife, Kathleen for 62 years and they have 3 children and 10 grandchildren. Three of their granddaughters attended St. Pius X.
Pete has been married to his wife, Karen for 60 years and they have 4 children, and 9 grandchildren. All four of their children attended St. Pius X and three of their grandchildren attended St. Pius X.
Their collaborative spirit and unwavering dedication is truly admirable, and their passion for serving the SPX community shines through in their exceptionally beautiful work. We are very grateful for them!
Brett Sharp
Brett, a proud St. Pius X alum from the class of 1996, has shown remarkable dedication to the school for decades. His involvement began as a student when he participated in alumni fundraising efforts, calling on older graduating classes during the phonathon. Even then, his passion for St. Pius X was evident.
After graduating, Brett and his wife Liz, also from the class of 1996 continued their commitment by joining the alumni board for their class and participating in almost every Annual Alumni Appeal. Their financial support has been unwavering through various phonathons and capital campaigns. Brett also served on the St. Pius X Board of Directors for three years, further demonstrating his leadership and dedication.
When Brett’s son Robbie began attending St. Pius X, Brett took on a more active role in the Warrior Pride Booster Club, eventually becoming its president. His leadership was instrumental in organizing successful fundraisers, including Trivia Nights, which brought the community together. When his younger son Steven joined the Academic Team, Brett stepped up again, serving as coach and coordinator, dedicating countless hours to academic meets, traveling, and supporting the team.
In 2020, when Covid limited attendance at football games, Brett didn’t hesitate to take action. He spearheaded the effort to live-stream the games, becoming the “Voice of the Football Warriors” alongside Dave Mosh. His broadcasts brought St. Pius X football into the homes of alumni and fans across the country, reconnecting many with the school. The live-stream was a game-changer, and Brett’s attention to detail and love for the Warriors made each broadcast special. His thorough research, storytelling, and mention of alumni during the games were fan favorites.
In 2023, Brett took on the role of head Freshman football coach, guiding the team to a successful season while continuing his broadcasts. His tireless volunteer efforts, leadership, and ongoing financial support, alongside Liz, have left an indelible mark on St. Pius X. As parents of two alumni, Robbie and Steven, and current Junior Annie, Brett and Liz’s commitment to the school remains as strong as ever. Brett exemplifies what it means to give back to the community and has truly made a lasting impact on the school he loves.
